Q. What's your photography style?
I'm a documentary wedding photographer meaning my approach is relaxed and laid back.
This enables me to shoot some really awesome fun candid shots.
Q . How do we book you?
Just use the contact form here and we can stat chatting about your wedding plans.
I'm only booked when I receive a £500 non-refundable deposit, signed contract and booking form.
The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day.
Q. Can you hold the date for us?
Simple answer is no. I get so many enquires I'm only booked when I receive the deposit and signed contract .
There's a selection of very popular dates during wedding season so get booking to secure your photographer.
Q .Do you offer a couple shoot?
Yes but it's not included in the price.
A couple shoot will help you relax in front of the camera on the big day and we can get to know each other before the big day.
Q. Do you shoot group shots?
Yes I love to shoot a few small group shots. No more that 4 groups as this takes a lot of time of of your day. We'll go off and do some fun groomsmen & bridesmaids shots but for the family, just a few close members only so we don't waste any fun time. If you want a long list of family shots then I'm not the right photographer for your day, I like to get loads of fun candids.
Q . How long do we have to wait for our photos?
In busy wedding season I take anything from 4 -8 weeks to deliver your online gallery. I'll be editing several weddings in order of shooting so there's a bit of a wait.
Q . Do we get a preview after the wedding?
YES – I’ll send you around 10 sneaky shots within a week of your wedding to get you excited.
Q . What if we decide to get an album?

Definitely get an album as they're beautiful. I send you all the info you need and we can design it after the wedding.
Q . Do you travel?
Yes I love to travel. I’m happy to travel anywhere in my little Polo. Anywhere over 70 miles will need over night accommodation.
I don’t want to drive back tired!
Q . We want to get married abroad, will you come?
Of course – I love to travel, let's chat travel!
Q . Are you insured?
YES I’m fully insured. I have public liability and professional indemnity as well as equipment insurance. Please let me know if your venue requires my certificates, I'll send them over.
Q . Can we meet up before we book?
Of course, I’d love to meet you both and chat about your day. If you live to far away we can speak on the phone or Skype.
Q . What equipment do you use?
I use Nikon D750's along with my fav lenses such as Nikon 24-70mm, Nikon 70-200mm, Nikon 50mm and Nikon 35mm. I always carry spare batteries and memory cards. I have a Speedlight flash for the evenings but during the day I use only natural day light where possible.
Q . Do I have the copyright to the photos?
No - I will give you all of the images which you can get printed & share with family and friends.
Allison Dewey Photography retains the copyright to all photos.
This means you cannot sell or make any changes to the photos-that’s all, not as scary as it all sounds!
